I have not posted these comments, because I have no way of knowing whether the charges they make -- very serious ones, in my opinion -- are true or not. But I think it is worth noting that it is not unlikely that imitations of Morrisseau's unique style may well be -- inadvertently or deliberately -- marketed as his. If you are thinking of buying his work, then you should, of course, proceed cautiously and, if necessary, with the help of a qualified expert.
